NEW VIDEOCLIP & INTERNATIONAL TOURING CONTINUUES:CHINA, HONG KONG, SINGAPUR, TAIWAN, SWITZERLAND AND FRANCE.

“The video of 'my love is gone' speaks of love in its continuously evolving state, formed by volcanic eruptions, cooling, plutonic magma and rivers of volcanic lava.”

Russian Red is releasing the video of My Love Is Gone, the fourth single from the album Fuerteventura. Directed and made by Virgili Jubero, the video has amazing visual quality and preciosity that power the lyricism and the enigma of the song. The idea began as an experiment involving Virgili Jubero (http://www.virgilijubero.com/) (who directed the video for Conquer The World) and Russian Red, and the result is a highly artistic film that connects with the musical ideas of the Spanish artist. It features stunning images, photography of the highest level and a special setting for a song that has real substance.

The producer and director Virgili Jubero, who has also worked with the likes of Liars, Sebastien Letelier, Jarvis Cocker and El Columpio Asesino says: "The video of 'my love is gone' speaks of love in its continuous state of evolution, formed by volcanic eruptions, cooling, plutonic magma and rivers of volcanic lava." "We made the video in Paris, in the winter of 2011, and it was filmed in various locations like the Lancaster Hotel, where Marlene Dietrich lived, the Pont Alexandre III and the Museum of Mineralogy of Paris. Two days of shooting in which Lourdes and I were alone, with no technical or artistic equipment at all. Maison Martin Margiela lent us some pieces of clothing. "

Just as the video for My Love is Gone is released, Russian Red continues her world tour. She has just performed at the Summersonic Festival in Japan, during her second visit in a year to the country. On September 7, she appeared in San Sebastian with musicians from Belle & Sebastian and on the 8th in Guadalajara. She then travels to Switzerland to give three concerts on 26, 27 and 28 September, followed by her second visit to China, Hong Kong (where they will release a new EP with bonus material, video, etc.) and Singapore, as well as a third visit to Taiwan. The Spanish tour will come to a close in late 2012 to continue after her concerts in America (Colombia in January, Chile in April, Mexico, and Argentina). Last May, Russian Red received the silver medal of the Community of Madrid and in the summer she was involved in the recording of the soundtrack of the movie Brave (Disney Pixar) singing the Spanish version of the movie's theme tune.
